Ivory Sculpture Fragment of Virgin mary

Head of a virgin, surely belonging to a dress processional figure. Preserves traces of polychrome on the eye, eyebrow and lips

Additional Analysis:
It is a colonial ivory, Hispano-Filipino, and can be dated to the seventeenth century by the polychrome of the eyes. The piece is very fine and stands out for its great weight. A very similar one is preserved in the Museum of Avila.
