Baraja fan

Baraja fan. Vintage: Rods: 14 rods + 2 guards, made of openwork wood with gouache silk applications and metallic inlays, joined by a purple silk ribbon. Nail riveted on mother-of-pearl ferrule.

Face: decorated on each rod by two windows: the upper one alternates houses and flowers and the lower one also alternates flowers and leaves painted and surrounded by small metal sheets. Undecorated reverse.

According to M. Volet, it is a fan made in the Philippines. It is very similar to 17,484
