Oval basketry hat with wide downward-turning brim. Surface covered in open latticework of narrow bamboo splits. Crown embellished with two lines, in dark and light material, wrapped over the lattice and forming a point at the front of the hat. Two additional wrapped lines in dark and light materials at the front part of the brim.
