Hat. Basketry fedora with wide brim and indented crown. Formed of bands of vegetal material wrapped to each other in an open pattern with largely dark brown strips. Similar strips of material but in a light colour have been added around the slightly inward sloping sides to create decorative motifs. Crown is all in this light colour.
