Head Cover

Cover to protect wearer from rain, known as a tudung. Similar shape to that of a winnowing tray. Framework over inner and outer surface holds in place strips of leaves, probably from the wild pineapple. See very similar object illustrated in Bohle, B. et al. (eds.) 2009. The Philippines: Early Collections. Vienna: Museum of Ethnology. | Ifugao
