"Ine" - for central portion of a tubular skirt or "mother piece".
Brownish-black and natural warp ikated design with maroon and natural ikated bands at side selvages. Warp ends: cut and one end has headwig cord. This speciman resembles L.W. Benedict collection. (From card catalogue notes by Laura Watson Benedict(1861–1932) and Lisa Whitall (1926-2019), 1905)
