Coiled jar-shaped basket, ulbung, with stepped base, an arched handle attached by two small cane loops, a bulbous body narrowing to a small circular neck. The circular basketry lid is attached to the edge of the arched handle, which can be used to suspend the ulbung to keep the contents safe from rats or other persts. for storing rice.
