Man's Saroar, Trousers

Maroon, natural, brown/black and pinkish red stripes. Decorated bands on legs, called "tutuc" have dark blue and red cotton and brownish (1x1) hemp or cotton with very elaborate yellow and white beadwork a few spangles and yellow embroidery. No drawstring. (From card catalogue notes by Laura Watson Benedict(1861–1932) and Lisa Whitall (1926-2019))
