Head-Cover

Head-cover (for rain or sun?) made of rattan, leaf (palm). 1850s-1910
Curators comments:
Register says: "(Sunshelter?) Woman's rain protector, worn over the head. called "Tugwi". ( see "Boutoc Igorrot". Jenks, p.122. Pl. XXXVII)"; From acquisition notes "Igorrot".; Register says: "This whole collection from the "Igorrot". N. Luzon."
