Square Flat Basket (Ifugao)

At the top, a double rattan frame, wrapped at intervals with rattan strips of the braid. Black brown. Two-way weave made of bamboo, side diagonal and open, because the basket is used for sieving. Up to 10cm below the frame, twill, in the adjoining bottom part (28 x 28cm) with canvas. Both types of binding are set apart from each other by the weaving of a bamboo strip. On one side of the frame, the middle piece is braided with rattan strips, this is where the three rattan rods of the frame end.
