Square Basket Bag (Ifugao)

Food basket with snap-on lid made of bamboo, square, three-fifths covered by the lid. Both worked in two-way weave diagonally and twill. The outside of the basket base and top of the lid are stabilized with a square frame made of rattan (frame sides of the basket base: 15 x 12.5 cm). To be worn on a three-strand twisted Z-shape twine that is tied to two opposing eyelets on the frame of the basket base and runs through two opposing eyelets on the frame of the basket lid.
