Cloth

Length of banana fiber (?) cloth, bold dark red, yellow and cream colored plaid, from same piece as 2016-20-38. Handwritten sewn-on label on 2016-20-38: "Grass Cloth / Used to cover walls and for hanging at doorways." Displayed at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904.
