Length of banana fiber (?) cloth, bold dark red, yellow and cream colored plaid. Handwritten sewn-on label: "Grass Cloth / Used to cover walls and for hanging at doorways." Displayed at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904.
