Sheath|Model

CG93-10-25/41 appear to be models of various styles of Philippine sheaths. A label on one may apply to all of them: "Made from a drawing, by a Moro in Jolo - 1899." Most are too flat and flimsy to be functioning sheaths, and the tops of the kris sheaths are carved in one piece with the sides, which is also odd. Several have written on them the initials W.A.L., sometimes followed by a number. CG93-10-30 is a barong style sheath. No carved decoration. Bound with peel: one band at bottom, one at top, and three strands diagonally across top (perhaps to hold it together where it is cracked). Adhesive tape: 1. W.A.L. 4
