Claret red body and black arms. Embroidery is natural + brown/black hemp. White beadwork. Closed front Field Notes: "man's closed waist of hemp dyed solid red and called "Inombus"; sleeves black, decoration very elaborate: fine embroidery done by Tagacola tribe, back almost covered with small discs of calati shell in desgins called "pac-pac" (eagle's wing) and "carani" (stars) further ornamentation of beads + sequins. This elaborate festival garment belong to Awi, a renowned Bagobo warrior." (From card catalogue notes by Laura Watson Benedict(1861–1932) and Lisa Whitall (1926-2019))
