Five casts from a gold coin

The original of these casts - a small gold coin - was found along with many others in an earthen pot at San Pedrillo near Mandaluyon on the island of Luzon. A gold coin was given to Ferdinand Blumentritt by José Rizal, who had the molds made of it in 1887. In 1894 he donated these to the Ethnographic Museum in Dresden, which, based on the characters, assumed that the gold coins were made in Java. (P. Martin 2020)
