From Slip: "Philippines Islands. 'Talaut Islands'". Assumed to be Talaud Islands, which are now part of Indonesia. (JH,1/1982).; Register slip: 'Pres. by Dr. A.B. Meyer of Dresden. July 29, 1880. Philippine Islands. Cylindrical Basket and cover, of brown and yellowish vegetable fibre, plaited; on the cover circles in brown with radiating points; on the sides somewhat similar ornament, the bottom entirely brown. 'Talaut Is.' Talautso Island I suppose.'
