Chopper (for grass clearing) made of steel, wood, silver. Same type as As1954,07.219, which is called an execution sword. 1800-1903
Curators comments:
Register says: " grass bobo .. clearing fields of grass".; According to Marion Roces, these types of weapons are called Panabas, and were once used for killing people. The notches along the edge may mean the number of kills. It is more recently that Panabas have come to be used for agriculture.
