Lbung - Blaan Woman's Upper garment

LBUNG 

The kind of upper garment  (lbung)is Lbung Nsif na Takmun. It is a combination of embroidery made from mother of pearl and of beads. The cherry red like color is a color made from a tree named ‘sfang’. The brown like color is a color made from ‘lageh’. ‘Sfang’ and‘lageh’ are all trees in Blaan.The material used is made from abaca ‘lutay’. Lutay Balngulan is the wild type of abaca which has a soft fiber.

: Woman’s jacket of red hemp cloth. Has embroidery on all parts and also several thousand shell disks, in designs, on front, back and sleeves. Sleeves of black hemp cloth. A very fine specimen.
