Head jewelry (Dukaw / Chukaw)

Inventory number: SA 35752 Bronze figure, which is made of a small piece of wood. She is part of the dungdung-kopfschmucks, the growing women before the wedding ceremony uya-uy trugen. The dukaw is decorated with long inipul pearls, which also draw the head jewelry with it. This jewelry will not be made any more today, so that weddings will now be celebrated mainly by Christian priests.
